Q.  How do I know if the new system my HVAC contracator is quoting me is right for my home?

A.  Every system installed whether it is a new construction install or a replacement unit          should  always begin with a load calculation.  This insures that the design is neither to large nor to small for the applicatin. To large a system cause short cycling, hot and cold flashes, higher operating costs, and more important lack of humidity contol in the airconditioning mode. To small a system obviously will not meet the heating or cooling load.

Q.  How can I tell if the contractor I chose is competent???

A.  Check with the local BBB, Consumer Affairs Office, and Municipal offices to find out if there are any pending or past complaints. Don't be afraid to ask for references. Word of mouth can be a determining factor.
